The key to understanding abdominoplasties is to realize that when done a certain way they dramatically improve abdominal wall function thereby improving core strength and exercise tolerance among other benefits.  Because of this many patients lose additional weight after their surgery long with the weight reduction from the surgery itself.

 

We also strongly embrace the use of a deeper tissue layer to suture all of the trunk and lower body lifts/arm lifts/thigh lifts to ensure a thinner scar and more thorough skin excision and better support.  

 

Liposuction has also seen a quiet revolution through the use of tumescent local anesthesia and internal ultrasonic fat dissolution. This leads to lower blood loss and less tissue trauma and in our opinion a better overall result with greater patient safety.

One of the newer techniques for buttock enhancement is fat transfer, something we have been doing in large volumes since 2005. We have seen an 80% retention of injected volume, results that are holding up even 10 years later. We have also had excellent experiences with all types of body implants including.
